At your consultation, we provide a comprehensive service that few providers can match. You will undergo a series of specialist eye tests, and meet your consultant surgeon, Mark Wilkins. He explains your results in detail, providing comprehensive, objective advice to whether laser eye surgery is right for you, and which type of treatment best meets your needs.
You will be provided with all the information you need to make your own decision in your own time.

The above procedures are fees for both eyes. Unlike many other providers, we have a single fixed fee, i.e. there are no higher fees for patients with larger or more complex procedures like many of our competitors.
The above procedure fees include;
- Mark Wilkin’s surgery fees
- Moorfields Eye Hospital facility fee
- Aftercare drops at discharge
- Two years of follow up consultation from the day of your treatment.
- Retreatments, only applicable in 2% of cases. There are no additional surgery fees for retreatments within two years from the date of your original surgery
Self-pay cataract & refractive lens exchange

*This includes the cost of a single focus / monofocal lens. Special order; multifocal or toric lenses range from £600-£1350 per lens.
**There is an additional hospital fee of £637 per eye for femto phaco or laser assisted cataract surgery.
Insured Cataract Surgery
The procedure code for cataract surgery in one eye is C7122, and for both eyes on the same day is C7125 . Insurance companies usually cover the hospital fees and contribute towards the surgeon’s fees. It is important to check with them as it is highly likely not all the surgeon’s fees are covered in full and there may be a shortfall. Insurance companies do not cover any special-order lenses, or femtophaco / laser assisted cataract surgery technique.
Corneal Graft Surgery
This fee ranges from £9,871 – £12,240 depending on the type of corneal graft surgery. The approximate costs are broken down as follows;
Hospital Estimate £2827 – £3600
Anaesthetist £600 – £750
Mark Wilkins £3000 – £4000 (Depending on type and complexity of corneal graft.
Graft Material (Pre cut £3965, full thickness £2787)*
*We used U.S sourced corneal graft material. This is due to a shortage of UK corneal material. By using U.S sourced material we can guarantee that the corneal graft material with not be recalled by the NHS (who take priority over private patients), leading to your surgery being cancelled at short notice.
Other self pay fees

When using insurance for your surgery, you will be provided with a procedure code to pass to your insurer. You then contact us with your pre-authorisation and membership numbers. Shortfalls are collected in advance of your surgery based on insurance companies’ customary fees. If you have a higher level of cover, please let us know. We accept the following insurance companies;
